Orations and other academic ceremonies
At the request of the Executive Board, the department of Communication takes care of the organisation of the academic ceremonies, which are mentioned in the menu on the left side of this webpage.

The department of Communication will not only make sure that every event will pass off properly, but they also take care of the all preparations, such as the invitations, the printing paper, the provision of food and beverages, the photography, etcetera.
In short: They will take care of everything to turn the ceremony into a success!

Dissertations (Promoties)
The first point of contact to arrange all the matters concerning a doctoral dissertation is the Doctorate Board. They are situated in the Vleugel and they can answer all your questions about the regulations of a ceremonial defence and about all the preparations you will have to make.

Location
The dissertations take place in the building Waaier 4. From the 1^st of September 2010 the orations will be held in the Prof.ir. M.P. Breedveldzaal .
