WHY EPA AND THE UT?
I decided to study EPA because of the variety of different subjects involved: economics, politics, sociology and law. I also liked the structure of the curriculum (e.g. 5th semester). I applied after having a talk with the study advisor. I selected the University of Twente first and then the programme. I was attracted by its education model, the learning environment, the facilities, the location and its international atmosphere.
I’m very positive about living and studying at Twente. My fellow students are friendly and professional, Enschede is an interesting city with a great atmosphere and my study programme is living up to all my expectations.
An average day starts with a coffee, and then I head for the university to study at the Vrijhof or attend lectures. I have lunch in the cafeteria and stay on campus till around 7 pm, and then I go home, cook and visit friends or study, depending on the workload.
Enschede has a rich and varied social life, with bars, concerts and cultural events. Apart from studying and work, I meet friends, take part in sports and other recreational activities.
