The University of Twente issues a Diploma Supplement for its degree programmes.

The Diploma Supplement (DS) is being issued in a widely spoken European language, given automatically and free of charge to every student upon graduation. It is an internationally recognised document attached to the diploma.

What is a Diploma Supplement?

The DS gives a detailed description of the holder's qualification(s) and a description of the national education system. One of the main aims of the DS is to ensure a fair and objective academic and professional judgement of your qualifications abroad. It is important to note that the DS is a supplement to, not a replacement of, the diploma.

Student Charter

The Student Charter provides an overview of the rights and obligations of both students and the University. It is based on national legislation, particularly the Higher Education and Research Act (WHW), supplemented by regulations that are specific to the University of Twente. These latter regulations are set out in the appendices to the Student Charter. The Student Charter describes the rights and obligations that apply to the university as a whole, such as registration and protection of rights.

Teaching and Examination Regulations

The teaching and examination regulations (OER) describe the specific education and examination regulations for each study. You can find more information on the website of your study programme.
