we strive to equip researchers with tools that push the boundaries of innovation.
We are thrilled to announce the latest update to the Twente Intervention and Interaction Machine (TIIM), introducing digital phenotyping capabilities.
What Is Digital Phenotyping?
Digital phenotyping refers to the collection and analysis of data generated through digital devices, providing researchers with a window into participants’ real-world behaviours and interactions. TIIM will soon support this cutting-edge approach by enabling the collection of:
- GPS Data: Understand location and movement patterns.
- Battery Life Metrics: Contextualize device usage.
Enhancing Research with Real-World Data
These features allow researchers to gather detailed, contextual data directly from participants' devices, enabling more comprehensive studies in fields like psychology, public health, and behavioural sciences. By integrating this data, you can uncover trends and insights that were previously difficult to capture.
Privacy at the Forefront
We understand that participant privacy is paramount. All data collection is conducted with informed consent, ensuring participants are fully aware of what is being gathered and why. Participants retain complete control over their data-sharing preferences, which can be adjusted at any time through TIIM’s and their device’s settings.
Seamless Deployment
The digital phenotyping features will soon be available to use. This update will seamlessly integrate with your ongoing and future studies, ensuring no disruption to your research workflow.
