How can we determine the quality of software? Like with banks, we would like to be able to subject software to stress tests and determine ratings for quality. Erik Hegemen, master student at CTIT’s chair “Formal Methods and Tools” in cooperation with Info Support from Veenendaal have been able to develop this stress test. Until now, most software has been rated by experts. Theories behind quality models for software already existed, but they had never been systematically examined for usability and accuracy. Erik has demonstrated rating software can be fully automated.
