Erasmus+ European Credit Mobility

European credit Mobility Project (KA131)

The Erasmus+ KA131 (previously KA103) European Credit Mobility Project enables student and staff mobility between UT and its partner institutions within EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey. These countries are referred to as Erasmus+ Programme countries or Third countries associated to the programme.

The Erasmus+ Mobile App is the single point of entry into the Erasmus+ programme, providing a broad range of information, tools and services to help students plan and carry out their Erasmus exchange.

Students can find everything they need to know about opportunities to go abroad with Erasmus+ and check out all the features that are specifically built to facilitate the student experience.

UT aims to enhance career prospects and academic excellence by increasing academic networks and knowledge exchange within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and European Research Area (ERA). To achieve these goals, UT incorporates international experiences into its educational programmes. 75% of students and staff must have the opportunity to travel abroad during their degree programme or once every three years, respectively.

Daniël ter Meer

In the last week of November, the UT Mobility-Online team visited University Colleges Leuven Limburg within the Erasmus+ KA131 Staff Mobility Programme. There we met up with colleagues from Windesheim (Zwolle) as well. We shared our knowledge and experiences regarding Mobility-Online and EWP, exchanged best practices regarding general troubleshooting, learned from each other's process implementations and discussed how to ‘join forces’ concerning our shared wish list for developments in Mobility-Online.

Blended Intensive Programmes

Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are short, intensive programmes that combine a short-term physical mobility abroad with an online component. They are funded within the European Credit Mobility Project (KA131).

  • Developing a Blended Intensive Programme

At UT, BIPs are developed and implemented in collaboration with at least two partner institutions from two Erasmus+ Programme countries. The duration of the physical component can be between 5 and 30 days, but there is no limitation on the duration of the online component.

Each year, via Erasmus+ KA131 funding, UT can support two BIPs through a one-time development contribution and scholarships for 5-7 outbound mobility participants (students or staff) per BIP, provided all conditions are met.

If you are a staff member who wishes to develop a BIP or partner with an institution that is developing one, please contact the Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator to check the availability of funds for mobilities. Funds are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once you have confirmed the availability of funding, please register the new BIP in Mobility Online.

The BIP should be registered at least 2 months before the start date.

If you have questions about the registration process for new BIPs, please contact the Mobility Online team.
