Some of the activities to be enjoyed during your Bachelor's Open Day
The programme sessions
When signing up for an Open Day, you can also sign up for one or two information sessions about Bachelor’s programmes you’re interested in. These sessions consist of two parts each:
- A general presentation of the Bachelor’s programme
- A section where you’ll be taking a more in-depth look at the programme
If after the first hour you feel that the programme doesn’t meet your expectations, you won’t have to stick around for the second part. Instead, you might as well use the time to take in the Bachelor’s Info Festival, or join one of the continuous campus tours.
What is the bachelor's Info Festival?
Not sure which of our Bachelor’s programmes would best suit you? Then a study choice check at the Bachelor’s Info Festival might be just the ticket. The Festival is open all day. Besides information about our Bachelor’s programmes you can learn all about accommodation on our campus or in the city, or about master classes you could decide to take as a student at the University of Twente. Our Dean of Students will be on hand to answer questions concerning finances, the new Dutch student financing scheme called ‘studievoorschot’, healthcare insurance, looking for accommodation, and the role parents can play in helping you decide what to study. Our Student Information Centre will also be present to answer all your questions concerning studying at the University of Twente in general and our programmes in particular. You can even get a taste of some exciting science experiments!
