CuriousU PRO is a special line of short learning offerings aimed at professionals during the summer. In alignment with the lifelong learning strategic goals of the UT, the CuriousU summer school and Professional Learning and Development Centre (PLD) have teamed up to organise CuriousU PRO for the 2nd year.
CuriousU PRO will take place between the 28th August and 2nd September 2022 at the University of Twente campus, at the UPark Hotel. The duration of courses will vary between 2-3 days. This year, the main course themes are:
- Digital Transformation
- Energy Transition
- Safety & Cyber Security
with overarching connection to Transforming Skills.
Submit your proposal
We invite all interested UT academic staff members to indicate interest in offering a course during CuriousU PRO in 2022, to submit a 1-page proposal by the 27th of March 2022 (23:59 CET) to curiousu@utwente.nl. The proposal must be written in English and should include:
- Course leader’s contact information (name, faculty, e-mail address)
- Course information (title, course duration, target audience, matching CuriousU PRO
theme) - Course topics and description
- Involved academic staff & companies or external stakeholders involved (if applicable)
A clear focus on a specific target audience will be considered a plus. All applicants will be contacted on the 31st of March at the latest regarding the selection process results.
Support from CuriousU
CuriousU PRO course leaders can expect support from CuriousU and PLD team in respect to marketing the course, managing registrations, and booking facilities (hotel rooms, classroom). Each CuriousU PRO course receives a small budget for course organisation.
