Nicola Strisciuglio, Estefania Talavera and Shunxin Wang attended the International Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) 2024 on June 17-21, representing the DMB group.
They presented the papers:
- 'Fourier-basis Functions to Bridge Augmentation Gap: Rethinking Frequency Augmentation in Image Classification' in the main conference
- 'ST-Gait++: Leveraging spatio-temporal convolutions for gait-based emotion recognition on videos' in the 'LatinX in CV workshop'
Furthermore, they were involved in several other activities:
- Estefania chaired the 'Women in Computer Vision' workshop
- Nicola was panel member at the social 'Challenges/Opportunities for ECRs in Fast Paced AI' in the main conference
- Estefania was panel member at the 'LatinX in CV' workshop
