During a beautiful sunny day, UT opened its doors for the Open House last Saturday. There was plenty to experience for young and old alike. “I didn't know University was so cool!"
The TechMed Centre was buzzing with activities and discoveries all day. The 'Children's Square' was a big hit among the little ones. There, they participated in interactive and educational experiences on medical technology. Like a real surgeon, they practised operations and scientists everywhere were on hand to talk about the latest technologies.
In Virtual Reality environments at the Ravelijn, visitors enjoyed unforgettable presentations. In Langezijds, little ones made the ground tremble and caused the worst earthquakes. At the WaterLab, you made your own membranes and the wind tunnel blew you away. And on such a warm day, a nano ice cream from the Nanolab could not be missed, of course. In short, a day full of different activities!
