Microsoft Teams for students

Since May 12, 2020, students can use Microsoft Teams. From now on it is also possible for students to create their own Team. You can share schedules, files, and notes with fellow students, UT employees, and external people. You can also use Teams to chat or make video calls. Because student accounts use Gmail and the Google calendar, it is not possible to set up a scheduled Teams meeting.

If you want to use Microsoft Teams, go to https://teams.microsoft.com and log in with your UT e-mail address (for example v.vanGogh@student.utwente.nl).

Are you creating a new team? We advise you to set a minimum of two owners, so the Team site does not end up without an owner when it leaves the Team.

Please also note that Team sites are automatically deleted after one year of inactivity. The designated owners of the Team will be notified 30 days in advance.
