Do you want to serve the interests of all students of the faculty for one year? Do you want to gain experience in management and learn about the ins and outs of the faculty and the university? Do you want to build up a vast network inside and outside the faculty? Apply for the position of student assessor!
The Faculty of Science and Technology (S&T/TNW) is looking for a new student assessor as of 1-9-2025 to be part of the faculty board. The faculty board consists of the dean, the portfolio holders Education, Research and Operations, the secretary and the student assessor.
What does the student assessor do?
Within the Faculty Board, the student assessor represents the student perspective and is, therefore, a link between the faculty and the students. As a student member, the student assessor advises the Faculty Board during the plenary meetings on, among other things, education, student affairs, community building and internationalisation. The student assessor works closely with students and staff of the faculty and the university. Furthermore, the student assessor contributes to the visibility of the Faculty Board to both students and employees.
The Student Assessor stays informed of national developments in the field of education and maintains contact with the student members of the faculty council, the Study Associations, other student assessors (both UT and national), the Student Union and other relevant parties. By doing so, he or she represents the faculty both within the UT community and outside of it.
