What is Pre-U?
Pre-U offers a broad array of activities where you can get your first experience with scientific education and help with choosing a study programme. At Pre-U, university students work with a lot of enthusiasm to help get students like you ready for studying at a university. Our activities are planned and given by those students. The target group of Pre-University is Dutch education, so the activities are mainly in Dutch.

Discover what suits you!

Within our programme you can join all sorts of activities, individually as well as with the rest of your classmates. Excited?
From this year on, we’re working with a 4-period yearly schedule, in coherence with the 4 periods in the University of Twente planning. Before every activity period, there is a sign-up period beforehand. On this page, you can find the activities for this period.

Foundation Year
The University of Twente (UT) can offer you the opportunity to take an international foundation year after which you will be admissible to our English-taught bachelor's programmes. This is different from the Pre-U programme. More information can be found here.
