Are you an international student and you do not meet the requirements for direct entry to an undergraduate degree programme (Bachelor of Science)? However, you would like to take one of our English- taught programmes? The University of Twente and the Holland International Study Center offer you the possibility to take a foundation year after which you will be admissible to our English- taught programmes. The one-year programme combines academic study, English language training and study skills to prepare you for degree-level study.
International Foundation Year in Science and Engineering
To be admissible for the programmes Advanced Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, Applied Mathematics and Technical Computer Science you have to take the International Foundation Year in Science and Engineering.
Course modules include Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Chemistry, Computing and Physics.
International Foundation Year in Business and Management
To be admissible for the programme International Business Administration you have to take the International Foundation Year in Business and Management.
Course modules include Mathematics, Organisations & Behaviour, Microeconomics, Accounting & Finance and Marketing Intelligence.
To be admissible for the programme Creative Technology you can either take the International Foundation Year in Business and Management or the International Foundation Year in Science and Engineering.
- You want to enter an English taught undergraduate programme
- You are not eligible to enter the programme directly
- You hold a high school diploma with good grades
- You are 17 years old or above.
