The University of Twente offers you the opportunity to take the Twente Pathway College International Foundation Year, after which you will be admissible to most of our English-taught bachelor's programmes. The one-year preparation programme combines academic study, English language training and study skills to prepare you for degree-level study.
If you believe this option provides you with the opportunities you are looking for, please check if your diploma is eligible for admission and if the bachelor’s programme of your choice offers the pathway. Please know that admission is also regulated by Dutch national law, which influences the admission requirements. The programme is provided by our partner, Navitas, if you have any questions about the preparation year, please contact Navitas, as they are overseeing the admission and enrolment to the Twente Pathway College International Foundation Year.
During your preparation year, there will be possibilities to retake any failed exams and the support team will carefully monitor your study progress and offer guidance when required. Students are only allowed to stay in the Netherlands for one year of preparatory education. After this you need to be enrolled at a higher education institution in the Netherlands otherwise your visa to study will no longer be valid.
- If you pass the Twente Pathway College International Foundation Year successfully, you have guaranteed admissibility to the bachelor’s you have chosen during your application for the Twente Pathway College International Foundation Year.
