There are different production facilities for external organizations available, is some cases also combined with office space.
High Tech Factory
High Tech Factory is a unique production facility on the campus of the University of Twente. The building has a total surface of 5,000 m2. This is where companies can rent cleanrooms, high-tech laboratories and office space. High Tech Factory is there for high-tech companies that are up for the next step: scaling-up towards high-volume production.
Because high-quality production equipment is expensive and often difficult to fund, the High Tech Factory has an equipment fund: High Tech Fund. This fund enables companies to hire this equipment so that they do not have to make the large investment themselves at once.

NanoLab And Bionanolab
The MESA+ Nano Lab has in total 2,500 m2 surface area of research space with state-of-the-art technology and equipment. This is where users can develop an almost limitless number of applications in the field of material sciences, lab-on-a-chip technology, nanophotonics, nano-electronics and nanofluidics. Industrial parties are already using these facilities, filling in about 40% of the capacity.
The BioNano Lab, located in the Zuidhorst building, has extremely advanced equipment for applications in (bio-) nano-technology, biology, (bio-) physics, (bio-) chemistry and medicine. This ranges from deposition equipment and dispensing systems to advanced equipment for microscopy/nanoscopy and analyses on a micro- and nano-scale. In addition, there is a so-called ML-II laboratory with a cell analysis system.
