What to expect from our Open Days?
You can participate in various informative and inspiring activities. Follow one, two or three study presentations of the bachelor's that interest you, talk to students and join the campus tour to find out where you will be studying soon.

- Opening sessions
- 09:30 - 10:00 | Studying at UT (NL)
When visiting the Open Day, you of course want to learn more about your future study programme - but getting to know the University is just as important! There is plenty of time for that during the opening. What's it like to study at the University of Twente? What are the benefits of obtaining your bachelor's degree here? And what is student life like on campus and in Enschede? Let us introduce you to UT in this Dutch-spoken session!
- 09:30 - 10:00 | Preparing for Dutch university (EN)
Are you a student at an international school? Or an international student interested in studying in the Netherlands? Then this English-spoken session is for you! It will cover everything you need to know about studying at a Dutch university. From admission to accommodation and costs, we'll answer all your questions, especially if you're not yet familiar with the Dutch education system.
Are you a German student? Then you might prefer the German-spoken session in parallel.

Are you German and do you want to study in the Netherlands? In this German-spoken session, you will hear everything you need to know before starting your studies in the Netherlands - from admission to accommodation and costs.

- 10:30 - 12:00 | Study presentation 1
During the study presentation, you will get more information about the programme of your interest. Additionally, you get a demo, tour or project case to deepen your understanding. The presentations take place in various educational buildings. Where you have to go, depends on the bachelor's programme of your interest.
*Please note: not every programme is represented in every presentation round, so try to plan your Open Day smartly! When you sign up, you can indicate which study presentation you want to attend in which round. This way, you can also see which programmes are available.
- 13:00 - 14:30 | Study presentation 2

- 10:15 - 11:00 | Theme session Tech (EN)
Technology is everywhere, from the bridge you bike over to the solar cells on your roof. But how do you actually design and build such technologies? And which study programme suits your role in this innovative world?
In this English-spoken theme session, you'll get a mini-lecture on engineering and discover how creative tech solutions can change the world. You will also discover how different study programmes at the University of Twente contribute to sustainable energy, smart design and the technologies of the future, each with their own focus.
- 10:15 - 11:00 | Theme session Management (NL)
Are you interested in communication, international affairs, public administration, (information) technology or healthcare? And do you want to learn how to manage companies and/or projects successfully?
In this Dutch-spoken theme session, you will get a mini-lecture on how you can use management to improve organisations and make a difference in the world. You will also discover the different management programmes at the University of Twente and find out which one suits you best.
- 11:15 - 12:00 | Theme session Health (NL)
Are you interested in health(care)? And would you like to contribute to a healthier world?
In this Dutch-spoken theme session, you'll get a mini-lecture about exoskeletons (wearable robots) and how technology and health come together to help people: for example, by enabling people with spinal cord injuries to walk again or easing heavy work in healthcare. You'll also discover the different health programmes at the University of Twente and learn how each programme focuses on these kinds of innovations in its own way.
- 11:15 - 12:00 | Theme session AI & Data (EN)
Artificial intelligence (AI) impacts almost every field of study: whether you are interested in technology, data or the ethical challenges surrounding AI.
In this English-spoken theme session, you'll get a mini-lecture on the current issues surrounding AI. You will also discover how these are addressed within our various study programmes, and which one is most suitable for you.
- 12:15 - 12:45 | Preparing for university (NL)
What do you need to know before you start studying? For example, how does the study credit system work? How do you find a room in Enschede? And what does studying cost? In this Dutch-spoken, in-depth session, you will hear all about housing in Enschede, the associated costs, the binding study advice and more.
- 13:15 - 14:00 | Theme session Chip Technology (EN)
Chips are everywhere, from your game console to medical devices. But how are they made? And which bachelor's degree fits your role in this high-tech world?
In this English-spoken theme session, you will attend the mini-lecture from sand to chip - a glimpse into the fascinating process of developing chips. You will also discover how different study programmes at the University of Twente are involved in chip technology, each with their own focus.

- 08:30 - 15:30 | Campus tours
Do you want to find out where you will spend your time as a student? Or do you want to check out one of the student houses on campus? During the Open Days, you can join a Campus Tour (60 min). Our students are happy to show you around!
- 08:30 - 15:30 | Info Festival
The Info Festival is the centre of the Open Days. Here, you will find all the information about the University of Twente, the student teams, the student city of Enschede, and much more.
- 08:30 - 15:30 | Programme Info Market
In addition to the study presentations, students from all study programmes will also be available for a chat at the Programme Info Market in the Waaier. Perfect if you want to compare study programmes or hear their first-hand experiences!
- 08:30 - 13:00 | Study choice test
Are you not sure yet what bachelor's degree you should choose? You can take a study choice test! It will take about 15 minutes and can help you determine which bachelor's programme(s) might suit you best.
Psychology, Computer Science, Business Administration or Advanced Technology... Which study programme are you interested in? Sign up for one, two, or three study presentations and ask all of your questions to find out if a bachelor's suits you.
Your student time will be unforgettable on our beautiful campus. You can do almost any sport or cultural activity imaginable here, from painting and beach volleyball to acting and Quidditch.

During the Open Day, you can get to know well-known student initiatives, such as the student teams HyDriven and Solar Boat Twente.
Student associations, the city of Enschede, and finding accommodation... At the Info festival, you will find all the fun and important information about your future student life.
You can even do a personality test to find out which studies would suit you, and talk to students from different fields.
Still in doubt about what kind of study programme suits you best? Or do you have no clue where to start your search? Take part in a study choice test! It may help you on your way to finding the right bachelor's for you.
There's a lot to think about when starting your studies. How do you find housing? What about financing your studies? And what is it like to study at a university? How do you collect study credits?

Campus University
Our campus is 146 hectares, about 200 football fields, and has as many activities to offer as a small city. The campus provides talented students, scientists and professors with a fascinating learning, working and living environment. From libraries and state-of-the-art laboratories to cultural and sports facilities: you can practice almost any sport imaginable!
