BACHELOR'S OPEN DAY

During the Open Days we will provide you with information on the content of the programme(s) of your choosing, how the programmes are structured, which specializations you can choose after the Bachelor, which possible future jobs you will be trained for, and what your job market opportunities will be like. You will have ample occasion to talk to students and sample their experiences first-hand. Of course we'll also be telling you all about living on campus and the financial aspects of a student's life.


Open Day’s in 2014

The next international Open Day’s will be held in November 2014 as well as March 2015 – the exact dates will be announced!


During our Open Days everyone is welcome to visit our six English taught programmes. However, if you're German and looking for information you can also opt for a Dutch taught Bachelor's programme as this information will be presented in German. Interested students can visit our German Open Day.

Overview Bachelor's programmes
Advanced Technology is a unique bachelor's programme offered only at the University of Twente. It is unique because you get to deal with several disciplines at the same time instead of a single one.
Wherever calculation and modelling are called for, mathematics − whether in the background or not − plays a decisive part. The bachelor´s programme is all about applications.
Understanding physical phenomena by discovering the underlying laws and applying these laws in practice − that is what the bachelor's programme of Applied Physics is all about.
The Academy of Technology and Liberal Arts & Sciences (ATLAS) is an interdisciplinary programme for top students, integrating social and technical perspectives into a new engineering approach.
Biomedical Technology is an engineering programme in which you get to design and develop a new healthcare technology. Think rehabilitation robots, artificial organs, medical scans, and prostheses.
Business & IT is the perfect match between information technology and business administration. Your knowledge of the development and use of sophisticated IT systems makes you the pivot of the company.
As a chemical engineer you will work on materials and processes. At the University of Twente this means high-tech materials, more efficient and innovative processes and reducing CO2 emissions.
Civil engineers design, build, and manage infrastructures and large constructions. Civil Engineering at the University of Twente combines technology with the organization that surrounds it.
Communication is vital to organizations. In the Communication Science programme you will learn how to design solutions to communication problems and challenges within and between organizations.
In a world full of sophisticated automation Computer Science is becoming more and more important. You could hardly think of a device or a company that could operate without ICT being applied.
How can you use high technology or new media to create user interaction? The Creative Technology programme challenges you to develop innovative applications while using the latest technology.
This English taught programme focuses on developing and improving electronics-based systems. You will work on high-tech applications, such as robot arms for surgery or sensors for health applications.
The European Public Administration bachelor's programme will familiarise you with Europe´s multilevel governance, equipping you to connect European policies with local and global realities.
As a health scientist you are an expert at improving the organization and the quality of healthcare. The University of Twente focuses on researching and managing technology in healthcare.
This bachelor's programme combines technology and ingenuity to create useful and well-designed consumer products that meet the demands of the target audience.
In Industrial Engineering and Management you will study how to analyse, design, and optimize organizations and business processes. You will also learn how to effectively implement these changes.
International Business Administration is an English taught bachelor's programme designed to equip you for a successful career in the complex and demanding world of international business.
As a mechanical engineer you are fascinated by how things work. You use your technical expertise to create, improve, and maintain things − from gadgets to large industrial installations.
Psychologists study human behaviour. In the bachelor's programme of Psychology you will learn how to observe, explain, predict, and influence both normal and deviant behaviour.
How to help patients with the latest technology? A technical medicine professional uses technology to both develop and apply new safe solutions for diagnosing and treating patients.
