Regional knowledge and Expertise

At UT, we actively engage in internationalisation, global collaboration, and academic partnerships. Achieving excellence in these areas requires the sharing of best practices, knowledge, and expertise – both within the university and with external partners. To support this goal, UT has dedicated liaisons for each region of the world. These liaisons play a vital role in bridging knowledge gaps, strengthening cooperation, and enhancing the strategic value of our international relations.

Global academic partnerships

UT collaborates with three designated Global Academic Partners. A Global Academic Partnership is a strategic collaboration involving two or more faculties that is a catalyst for achieving multiple strategic goals of the university.

These partnerships are established with higher education institutions outside of the Netherlands, fostering joint initiatives that leverage complementary skills, knowledge, and expertise. Based on shared values, these collaborations aim to address common societal challenges.

UT also has many other institution-wide and faculty-specific international partner universities. To discover all of UT’s partner universities for exchange, visit the Mobility Online Search Portal.
