The Elastomer Technology and Engineering (ETE) group at University of Twente participated in the 2019 session of the European PhD seminar on Rubber Technology held in Paris, France from the 8th-10th of April.
The seminar was organized by “Laboratoire de Recherches et de Contrôle du Caoutchouc et des Plastiques (LRCCP)”. 75 Participants, including doctoral students and professors, from 12 European institutes attended the conference. 36 Doctoral students gave talks on diverse topics within rubber technology. The seminar provided the perfect opportunity for the researchers to get acquainted with their fellow researcher and their research activities. The seminar also served as a platform to obtain peer review on their work and enhance inter-institute cooperation.
Members of the ETE group presented on:
Chigusa Yamada | Influence of functionalised S-SBRs on silica-filled rubber compound properties |
Suppachai Sattayanurak | Utilization of Organoclay as Secondary Filler in Silica-Reinforced Natural Rubber Tire Tread Compounds |
Hans van Hoek | Reproducibility of a devulcanization process |
Carmela Mangone | Conductive elastomers: Parameters affecting their properties |
Zuzanna Andrzejewska | Impact of compound formulation on "magic tire triangle" |
