MASTER ASSIGNMENT
Modern technology enables designing and production of high-quality materials for engineering structural elements. It is known that despite all effort and progressive control systems, the produced materials may still include imperfections. In this thesis, a candidate will study how the size and density of defects affects the mechanical properties of a chosen engineering material.
