Saša Čigoja was awarded the JYU Visiting Fellowship Grant to fund a research exchange with the University of Jyväskylä, Finland

Saša Cigoja is one of 15 international scientists who will join the University of Jyväskylä as a visiting researcher between the end of August and the end of October. He will be working with Assoc.Prof. Neil Cronin on algorithms that allow the automated tracking of muscle fascicle kinematics obtained through ultrasonography during human locomotion. Dr. Neil Cronin is an expert in human locomotion and image processing techniques for studying muscle-tendon function.

Saša is a postdoc fellow in the Neuromechanical Modelling and Engineering Lab directed by Prof.dr Massimo Sartori, developing algorithms for the analyses of muscle fascicle lengths and pennation angles of the human triceps surae as part of the ERC Project INTERACT (No. 803035), funded by the European Research Council under the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme.
