Symposium "Advances in Random Graphs and Complex Networks"

The research field of complex networks is becoming more and more important in all branches of research. Whether we are trying to understand the human brain, classifying proteins, optimizing communication in Wireless Sensor Networks or analyzing social interactions. Understanding the structure of such networks is of vital importance for understanding the behavior of the systems they represent and the processes that run on those systems.

This symposium features six talks by speakers that come from physics, computer science and mathematics, reflecting the multi-disciplinary character of the research field of complex networks. The talks will cover new developments within the field of complex networks, both theoretical and applied.
