Stochastic Operations Research group
The Stochastic Operations Research group (SOR) conducts mathematical education and research of in the areas of stochastic processes and mathematics of operations research, to contribute to the development of mathematics in a multidisciplinary engineering environment, and to contribute to a better understanding and functioning of our increasingly complex society.

Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Programming
Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Programming (DMMP)' works in the mathematics and practice of Operations Research, in particular Combinatorial Optimization, Approximation & Online Algorithms, Mathematical Programming, Discrete Mathematics, Graph Theory, Algorithmic Game Theory, and Mechanism Design.

Statistics
The statistics group started in 2018 and will grow over the next years. The research focus is on the development of statistical methodology for new data applications and the theoretical analysis of machine learning methods.
