Our Energy Group colleague Leoni Winschermann has won the 2nd price poster award during NWO ICT.OPEN 2025 for her work titled "Relating Electric Vehicle Scheduling to Processor Speed Scaling and Network Flow Problems". The event took place in Utrecht from April 15 to April 16, 2025.
NWO ICT.OPEN is an annual event that brings together scientists from all ICT research areas and industries to share ideas, discuss progress and get/stay connected. This year's event knew 15 tracks where participants could show-case their research for example by presenting a poster. Based on the abstracts submitted by the participants before the event, each track got to nominate a submission to be considered for the poster awards. The Algorithms and Complexity track put Leoni's name forward, and after a poster pitch to the jury and a round of questions, our colleague was awarded the 2nd prize poster award. The abstract roughly summarizes the concepts of her PhD project. We congratulate Leoni with this achievement!
