Thursday 3rd of February, the Energy Group participated at the EEMCS day. It was an interesting and fun day for EEMCS PhD candidates, Postdoc researchers, Lecturers, Assistant/Associate Professors & Professors with the goal to promote the communication and exchange of research ideas within EEMCS. During the day, EEMCS colleagues could participate in a "Match, Pitch & Win" game (where you could pitch an idea and win 5,000 euros to kick-off the implementation of it) and a poster exhibition. The poster exhibition was also a real game with the opportunity to win 1 of the 3 "Poster of the Day" prizes!
Each participant to the event was given 3 stickers with the right to vote for the posters. The most-stickered 6 posters were selected to the finalist stage; then the official poster jury determined the best 3 according to two criteria: 'effective communication' and 'inviting for collaborations'. The Energy Group invited to collaborate with the slogan: "Join and help us make the energy transition great again!" and a mirror in the center of the poster where the reader of the poster could see him/herself in the middle of our colleagues! The jury decided that this poster was one of the winning participants!
