Make your voice heard! Nominations for Faculty Council ET now open

The Faculty of Engineering Technology at the University of Twente invites passionate students and dedicated staff members to step forward and run for election to the Faculty Council. This is a great opportunity to contribute actively to shaping the future of our faculty and the quality of education and research we stand for.

What is the Faculty Council?

The Faculty Council is a participation body that represents the interests of both students and staff within the Faculty of Engineering Technology. It acts as a bridge between the faculty community and the management, ensuring that the voices of those it represents are heard on crucial issues affecting education and research. It plays a significant role in shaping faculty strategy and policy by providing both solicited and unsolicited advice to the Faculty Board on a wide range of matters, including Education and Examination Regulations, Lifelong Learning, Incentive grants, diversity and inclusion initiatives, the Horst Renovation, and adapting to the politically motivated language policy changes. Comprising 5 staff members (serving two-year terms) and 5 students (serving one-year terms), the Council actively influences decisions that impact the Faculty of Engineering Technology's future.
