Mirjam van Praag and Vinod Subramaniam signed an agreement on behalf of both Colleges of Governors extending the strategic cooperation between VU University Amsterdam and UT until 2030. The VU and the UT have already been working closely together in education, research and valorisation since 2019. For example, students take technical courses in Amsterdam, which earn a degree from UT. This year, the 2nd student group of students will graduate from the Mechanical Engineering bachelor's programme and in September 2023 Creative Technology will start. There is also cooperation in research in the fields of sustainability, safety and digitalisation. More than 40 joint research projects have now been started!
With the continuation of the successful VU-UT cooperation, we can train even more socially engaged (engineering) professionals and conduct multidisciplinary research for the complex challenges of our time.
