In Memoriam: Milan Derksen
It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our bachelor student Milan Derksen. He passed away on Sunday December 13th 2020 from a heart attack just after returning to the UT from visiting his parents.
Milan was a third year bachelor student in Electrical Engineering, and left a positive mark on those that knew him. His teachers describe him as passionate, motivated to learn and willing to help others. His fellow students call him spontaneous, funny, down to earth and relaxed.
Milans family has opened an online memorial site. They welcome it when students and staff members would share personal memories of Milan.
