Am I exempted from English language requirements?

Check here if you are exempted from taking an English language test for admission at UT.

It is important to understand that every case is assessed individually, and this information is not a guarantee. So, make sure to submit your application on time to find out if you are exempted or not. If you still need to take an additional English language test, you will need time to arrange it.

Result: The Netherlands

If you have a relevant bachelor’s or master's degree from a Dutch accredited academic institution, you might be exempt. Make sure your programme is accredited via the NVAO register.

Note: Business Administration master’s students with a Dutch degree may have extra English requirements.

Result: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States of America

You might be exempt if you earned a three-year degree in one of the exempt countries and studied there physically for at least three years. But if your teaching institution wasn't in any of these countries, or you followed distance (online) education, you might not be exempt, and an additional language test is required.

Canadian degrees need at least 50% English instruction.
