At tWorkshop, we provide a fully equipped textile workspace designed for crafting textile products and wearable technology.
Here's what we offer:
Sewing machines: We have a range of different sewing machines
- Basic Pfaff Home Sewing Machines: Suitable for all levels.
- Husqvarna Home Sewing Machine: Accessible after a quick 30-minute Sewing introduction.
Cutting table: Utilize our spacious, height-adjustable cutting table to lay your fabric and make precise cuts.
Mannequins: Use our mannequins for draping and pattern making. You can choose fabric from our storage or bring your own. Sketch your pattern on our adjustable cutting table and utilize fabric scissors or a rotary cutter for precise cuts.
Tool Wall: Access an extensive array of tools on our tool wall, making your prototyping process easier and more efficient.
NOTE: You can make use of tWorkshop only if you have a safety badge. Find more here. The textile workshop should be only used for educational projects. If you would like to work on your own project, you can make use of it during Maker's Night!
Sewing introductions
Are you a complete beginner and would like to learn the basics of sewing? Or you're in need of assistance for your project?
Sewing Course: We take you through all of the basic steps of sewing. During the small workshop (of max 1 h) you learn how to cut, pin and sew together a little project, while also learning how to operate a sewing machine. After Sewing 1 you can operate and use the Husqvarna sewing machine.
We provide the workshops on Mondays and Tuesdays: 14:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 16:00.
Please note! You need to have and bring with you your safety badge. If you do not have one, you can get one every Mon, Wed and Fri at 13:00, or at the beginning of Maker's night at 18:00 every Tuesday.
Please note! We provide support for sewing educational prototype questions, we do not help fix broken personal items for you (clothes, bags, etc.)
