Skills booster
Skills Booster is a student-driven workshop series that teaches students, staff of the University of Twente and everyone interested basic project-work skills in an accessible way. The goal is to help participants turn their own ideas into practical projects by applying the skills they learn during the workshops.
The programme offers a variety of hands-on workshops, covering practical making skills such as:
- 3D printing
- Laser cutting
- Sewing
- Electronics
- Soldering
- Repairing clothes
The workshops are designed to be hands-on and interactive, allowing participants to learn new skills and immediately put them into practice. Experienced instructors guide participants through the process and are available to answer questions.
Participants can sign up for multiple workshops depending on their interests. The programme welcomes both beginners who want to learn something new and experienced makers who want to expand their skills.
