connecting worlds for a better future
|
Introduction
This game is part of the eponymous narrative 'Connecting worlds for a better future', the mindset of the UT experience at the Dutch Design Week 2022. Visitors were asked to think about the past, present and future. Experience from the past is something that we all carry throughout our lives. You could be a designer, researcher, or someone's mother, a musician, a hairdresser. But we all deal with the challenges we are facing in the present. Be confident that you can contribute to solutions by bringing your perspectives and competencies. We all need each other, but how to take the next step? This game helps you to spark your imagination, think about who you would need for your scenario and reflect on the new insights that you have gained.
How it works
- Pick a technology card
- Pick a location card
- Pick an SDG card
- Grab the role card. Write down who you are in everyday life. Are you a designer, researcher, teacher, parent, child? A hairdresser, plumber, veterinarian, mascot? Whatever you feel most comfortable with!
- Grab the Values booklet. Write down or mark your two most important values
- Group the input (step 1 to 5) and use the letter sheet to write down the following:
- What is the title?
- In which year will it take place?
- Write the story about the future
- How do you feel about this future?
- What makes it a desirable future?
- What would you need from stakeholders in order to realise it?
Output
