After the opening of the academic year this afternoon, a new cultural season will also start. For the next two weeks, the beautiful mirror top of UT alumnus Gertjan Adema can be seen in the small exhibition room of the Vrijhof. On the first and last day of this exhibition, you can also make your own small mirror top during one of the workshops in the small hall .
A lot of hard work is also being done in the large exhibition room, where EnergyCulture (EnergieCultuur-EnergieKultur) opens on Thursday 3 September. The EnergieCultuur-EnergieKultur project is being carried out within the framework of taNDem, a cross-border art and culture project of the EUREGIO, and is supported by INTERREG.
Although the cultural courses have yet to begin, registrations have started and a single course is already full. So don’t wait too long with taking a look at the offer and sign up for the open atelier, voice training or belly dancing!
This week the cultural associations also start their open classes and rehearsals. Unlike before, registration is now mandatory, which can be done via the association websites.
We still have to wait a little longer for the professional performances, but… ticket sales start tomorrow! Due to the corona rules, there are fewer tickets than usual, so to avoid disappointment click, choose and order on time.
Meet while we eat
Now that everyone works from home as much as possible and you’re not able to pop into our offices, the employees of Culture & Events are going to try something new: Meet while we eat!
From Thursday 3 September, every Thursday without rain or snow during the (student) lunch break, the employees who can make it to Campus that day will get together at the artwork Information Plaza.
That way we can still see each other and we are also approachable for colleagues and students who want to say hello or have a short question. Of course at a safe distance.
