Tuesday, April 12th is the day! The installation of the artwork, which is being developed to mark the university’s 60th anniversary is about to begin. The artwork was designed by Joep van Lieshout and has been given the name ‘The Head’. The sculpture can be experienced both from the outside and the inside. The artwork The Head will give people a view of the terrain and the surrounding area.
The artwork will be given a prominent place at the entrance to the campus and will act as a gatekeeper. Placing the artwork can cause some traffic nuisance, we try to keep this to a minimum.
Thursday 19 May is the official opening of the artwork, further information about this will follow.
