Research

Co-creation is an integral part of our work.

As the innovation hub of the BMS Faculty, we collaborate with partners to develop innovative solutions to societal challenges. From proposal writing and funding support to advanced equipment, software, facilities, and secure data solutions, the BMS Lab supports the entire research process.

BMS faculty & UT researchers

We provide technical and research design support, development assistance, and tailored data storage and processing solutions. In some cases, we also support funding applications. After registering your project, you can use our equipment and facilities. Additional guidance is available via Canvas courses and the Infohub with tutorials and manuals. Ethical approval and compliance with UT and BMS Lab policies are required before starting.

Conditions/Requirements

Before starting to work with the BMS Lab, there are several conditions and requirements that apply. The BMS Lab requires researchers to sign up for their projects. The funding conditions depend on the project itself and its scope. In addition, researchers working at the BMS Lab need to comply with the general conditions and requirements of UT and BMS Lab. Before the researcher can start with their project, ethical approval is required.

External collaborators

Our facilities, equipment, software, and expertise are also available to external partners, including companies, universities, and institutes. If your project aligns with our mission and expertise, we welcome you to contact us to explore collaboration opportunities.

Note about External partners

External partners will need to meet and follow the general conditions and requirements of UT, the BMS Faculty and the BMS Lab.
