Delta Lady: Floating Cultures in River Deltas

Delta Lady is approved and funded by Interreg Europe programme.

The project aims at improving the policy instruments to foster the capabilities of using ecosystem services of river deltas for regional economy, based on the use of local cultural and natural qualities.

The project intends to result in the improved implementation of the regional policy instruments leading to better use of ecosystem services in deltas for regional economic development. This is planned to be done through improvement of the governance, development of action plans, identification of good practices, and sharing and active work in chosen deltas with involvement of regional stakeholder groups. The partnership consists of 9 partners from 6 European countries and represents a mix of regional and local public authorities as well as education and research institutes from: the Netherlands, France, Romania, Italy, Spain and Ireland. CSTM represents the University of Twente which is a lead partner in the Delta Lady project, through the involvement of Dr. Yoram Krozer and researcher Maia Lordkipanidze.

The project runs from June 1, 2018 till May 31, 2023. The total ERDF funding is €1,807,897.
