Student life has its challenges. Whether you are facing challenges concerning finances, health, or your studies, explore the available support and seek guidance.
Our support structure is designed to assist you on various fronts. From study advisors to financial aid counsellors, a network of professionals is ready to help.
Find your support
Your first contact in the educational programme is your study adviser. You can turn to the study adviser with questions about your study, study plan and study progress. Some educational programmes also have tutors or mentors for tutoring. A meeting about non-educational related problems is also possible. For instance, about motivation, doubts and study delays due to personal circumstances.
If you are a UT student living with ADHD or have questions about it, we are here to lend a helping hand.
What We Can Help You With
Creating and maintaining a structured daily routine that suits your needs.
Overcoming distractions and regaining focus effectively.
Developing strategies to tackle challenges before they become overwhelming obstacles in your mind.
If you don't have ADHD but are curious or have questions, you're also welcome to join our consultation hour.
Together with you, we work on a set of concretely formulated goals:
Emotional self-management and handling your ADHD.
Greater success in your academic journey.
Learning to adapt your behaviour independently.
Finding balance in a world of overstimulation and understimulation.
Identifying your unique strengths.
Boosting productivity with practical "life hacks."
Setting your own standards and not always conforming to social expectations.

Social safety is fundamental for everyone working at, studying at, or visiting UT. Respect, integrity, honesty, and consideration for others are expected on our campus and within our organisation. Together we must ensure our university continues to be a safe place. Being confronted with an unsafe situation or inappropriate behavior can have a huge impact. If you feel unsafe, or mistreated or if you have witnessed an unsafe situation, please inform people around you and try to talk about it. Various support professionals are here to help you whenever you need it, no matter what. Our skilled and committed professionals are always there for you to listen, talk things through, and act. Decisively, respectfully, and with an open mind.
A security officer will answer your call. They are trained to listen, act and support you immediately, whatever your situation.

Why participate?
By making smart choices and gaining insight into your financial affairs, you can reduce stress and create more space for what really matters. That is why the Student Well-being Improvement Programme (SWIP) has launched this initiative.
Collaboration
This programme is a collaboration between the UT and ABN AMRO. ABN AMRO is keen to support students and therefore provides substantive expertise and guest speakers. They also do this for other educational institutions as an expression of their social commitment.
