Oplichtingsmail

Op 2 mei 2019 heeft een crimineel getracht medewerkers van de universiteit via e-mail op te lichten.

Het begon met een eenvoudige mail die afkomstig moest lijken te zijn van Thom Palstra. Alleen werd gebruik gemaakt van een Gmail adres.

Wie daarop reageerde kreeg een verzoek iTunes bonnen te kopen en de gegevens daarvan terug te sturen.

Het e-mail adres van de crimineel is geblokkeerd, maar deze persoon kan het met een ander adres weer proberen. Wees dus voorzichtig met mail die niet van het reguliere adres afkomstig is. Maak nooit zomaar geld over en koop ook nooit zomaar tegoedbonnen.

Update: Criminelen hebben op 1 juni een nieuwe poging gewaagd.
