"I am happy to share that on Monday October 3rd 2022 I started my internship at Helmholtz-Zentrum in Dresden with Dr. Jan Vorberger in the department of high energy density physics. I started exactly on the German National holiday (German Unity Day) so my first day turned out to not really be my first day…
As I write this, I am already finishing my second week of the 5-months internship, where I will be focusing on first-principles calculations of electron-phonon coupling and optical properties of Ru in non-equilibrium two-temperature regime.
The research centre is located in the middle of nowhere (10 km from Dresden) and surrounded by beautiful forest."
