The Nano Electronic Materials Department held its annual Xmas colloquium on Friday, December 13th, 2024, marking a memorable occasion to reflect on the year’s research achievements. The event provided a platform for department members to present key highlights from their work, while also offering a chance to come together and enjoy seasonal refreshments. Special thanks for our Cluster Chair Claudia Filippi for initiating the event, and to Carmen Schoemaker and Chuan Li for organizing. As part of the colloquium, each Principal Investigator (PI) was invited to prepare a one-slide highlight of their research of this year, which was then presented in a one-minute pitch format. The event successfully combined scientific exchange with a festive atmosphere, fostering collaboration and anticipation for the year ahead.
