To facilitate the expansion of the faculty ET, a new multifunctional work place will be realized. The new building will replace the current workshops in the Hangar and the West Horst. Besides that, it will also include a large lecture area. Sketches are ready, the realization is planned, so now it is time to give this new building a name.
Name competition amongst ET staff and students
ET students and employees were asked to take part in the name competition. This resulted in 151 applications that were all carefully looked at by the jury. They were original, creative, surprising and all with a great story behind. The jury made a short list of 10 names that were further analysed on the UT policy on building names. The careful process is finalized by the Executive Board who approved the name CUBE.
CUBE refers to both the shape and multifunctional purpose of the new building: Technology, Teaching and Training. We congratulate Jutta Arens and Matthias Feinaeugle with winning the name competition! Enjoy your voucher to decorate your own workplace.
