Start of demolition of De Boerderij for locating the Contact Centre

Just before the summer holidays, the demolition of De Boerderij (the former location of the Faculty Club) started, in order to prepare the building for renovation into the Contact Centre. Some of the future users had the honour of giving the first 'sledgehammer blow' to the building.

The Contact Centre will be a meeting place for (international) students, and in the future also PhD candidates, where they can turn to with all kind of (practical) questions. It will be a place with room for personal attention. The service departments CES (SAS, Student Services) and MC (SI, Study Information Centre) will work together in answering student-related questions, in a personal way, but also via digital channels or telephone.

The aim is to move into De Boerderij by the beginning of 2022.

This animation gives an impression of the future Contact Centre, which is located at the heart of the 'Paviljoen Zone', and connects the Education & Research Square with the Boulevard and Hogekamp Square.
