Prof. Stefan Luding and Dr. Ahmed Jarray (UTwente), in collaboration with Dr. Elke Sholten (University of Wageningen), have been awarded the Klein-2 Grant from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), worth €623.000. Their project titled "Next generation Materials via controlled capillary suspensions" deals with capillary suspensions, a new class of liquids that enable cost-efficient and eco-friendly production of novel materials. The research promises to develop multiscale numerical models and experimental protocols allowing to understand, predict and control their rheological behavior.
