For the first time, the University of Twente will host the International Conference on Discrete Element Methods from Sunday 21st to Friday 26th July 2019. The conference is organised by TFE members Anthony Thornton, Thomas Weinhart and Stefan Luding, as well as Donna Fitzsimmons (MercuryLab) and Coby van Houten (Engineering Technology).
DEM 8 is an interdisciplinary conference combining people from the fields of chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, mathematics, geology, etc from across the world who are interested in the latest advances in discrete element technology.
We are also offering participating students a free 2-day training course on The Fundamentals of Discrete Particle Simulations on July 20-21st.
