Our speaker is Dr. Brian Denton. He is the Stephen M. Pollock Professor of Industrial and Operations Engineering and the Chair of the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. His research interests are in data analytics and data-driven optimization under uncertainty with applications to medicine, public health, and healthcare delivery. He is a Professor in the Department of Urology (by courtesy) at Michigan Medicine and a member of the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation and the Cancer Center at the University of Michigan. Brian is the past President of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), and he is an elected Fellow of INFORMS. On May 30, 2023, at 16:00 (CEST), he will talk about “Predictive and Prescriptive Models for Early Detection of Prostate Cancer.”
