SmartXp

THE SMARTXP IS A PLACE TO GENERATE IDEAS, CREATE EXPERIENCES AND EDUCATE STUDENTS.

The SmartXp is a joint Smart eXperience lab for researchers and students from the EEMCS faculty, and the main educational facility for the BSc program Creative Technology (CreaTe).

Our SmartCrew offers co-creation support in student projects and development of educational aids for CreaTe lecturers. The SmartXp also lends out equipment and tools, and manufacturers 3D-printed or laser-cut objects based on user specifications.

The SmartXp’s unique theatre is the buzzing heart of our lab, where students, staff members and the Study Association Proto all together create an atmosphere where people can thrive and experience personal success. The lab’s facilities and flexible use of lab spaces are key factors to this success.

Nicknamed “The Home of CreaTe”, the SmartXp is more than a working place for students. It is also a place where students come together in an informal setting, enjoying themselves and create memories.
