We are excited to announce that Egemen Işgüder has recently joined our team as a PhD candidate, starting his research journey in August 2024. With a focus on machine learning and human-computer interaction, Egemen brings a wealth of experience to our group. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant for three years in Turkey, where he conducted innovative research on human activity recognition using IMU data with federated learning during his Master's thesis. Currently, Egemen is contributing to the ECOLOGIC project, where his work aims to improve the health and safety of construction site workers through wearable technology and advanced machine learning techniques.
