Active and Healthy Aging: European partners are coming to Twente

Tuesday January 23 and Wednesday January 24 the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Aging will have an face-to-face action meeting which includes members from Naples, Barcelona, Valencia and Twente. The meeting is organized by prof. Miriam Vollenbroek, department of Biomedical Signals and Systems and will take place at Drienerburght. Among sharing results and preparing for upcoming meetings, the meeting will look into possibilities to build further collaborations among reference sites.

The Tuesday afternoon programme hosts a variety of topics related to active and healthy aging. Starting at 13.30 there will be presentations about topics such as caregivers, cognitive decline, frailty, food and nutrition and physical activity related to implementation of ICT technology.
