Project summary:
This was a project financed by the Udentity company and partly by a knowledge transfer voucher. This project aimed at development of a contact sensor for wrist vein recognition.
We built a (non-contact) sensor for wrist vein acquisition and aquired a small dataset and did some experiments on recognition performance using wrist vein images.
TNO was mostly involved in the project for the development of the contact sensor, but they terminated the hardware development.
The project lasted until July 2023.
