LATAM Undergraduate Research Program
Encourage undergraduate level students, to pursue computer science research and apply graduate programs.
Project summary:
The goal of our program is to encourage students at the undergraduate level, especially from underrepresented groups, to pursue Computer Science research and apply to graduate programs. We will recruit undergraduate/master students in computer science and related majors, and invite them to participate in workshops and research projects during the Spring 2024 semester. Our objectives are to increase the self-efficacy of participants, their sense of belonging, their computer science and research skills, and their motivation to pursue computing research.
During this semester, the participants will work on a project defined by the mentor. Several online activities will be offered for both mentors and mentees.
